Goose Hunting Looks Good This Season
It looks like winter could come early this year. Fairbanks has already been down to 19 degrees and the Farmers Almanac says the lower 48 are in for some cold weather this winter too. That kind of weather makes for an excellent waterfowl season and would make it a good year for you to join us for some fantastic goose and duck hunting. We have properties spread out all over the Columbia Basin and into Oregon which certainly increases our odds of giving our customers some fun and successful hunting.
We can see that the fall migration is already taking place. We have seen several thousand ducks at Sprague Lake near Ritzville and Greater Canadian geese are already using the fields in our Ritzville area property. We have just put in five new goose pits on our farms by Ritzville and the geese were trying to crowd us out as we dug! The lessors will be arriving about the third week of October and will be good shooting in the Ritzville area until Thanksgiving.
Good news for when we are hunting in Oregon - there is now a three day license available for out of state hunters. The geese on our Oregon farms are also large honkers. There are already 700 to a thousand honks on these farms. Were also excited to see 500 large geese on our Snake River farms.
Pacific Wings will also have some goose hunting available in the Woodland area of SW Washington during December and January. This will be great for a closer destination for our SW Washington hunters
Duck hunters take note! Check out a photo of our new pond at Mesa on our website. Were expecting some really good shooting for ducks at this pond to add to our other good producing duck areas. Attracting the ducks is a field of corn across the road which is also under our control.
In short, this will be a great year to join us for what should be an excellent season of waterfowl hunting. Call now while we still have dates available.

Pacific Northwest Anglers News
We have spent a good bit of time this spring and summer fishing for king salmon. We boated several fish over 30lbs in the lower Columbia and managed to do the same while fishing in the upper Columbia at Brewster. We are now fishing the Hanford Reach and the largest king for us so far weighed in at 37 lbs. The kings will be in the Hanford Reach now through the 22nd of October so you might consider getting in a little fishing along with your hunting trip. Call Mike for details.
Good Success With Early Season Openers
We had an excellent time here in the Basin with the opening of Dove Season. It doesnt last long but everyone had a good time. We shot over 300 doves in two days. The weather was nice and warm and stayed that way which kept the doves in the area. Think about joining us next season!
The early season weekend for geese proved to be a great time for all our hunters. We shot over 70 large honkers during the two day season. Check out our website for new photos of our early season hunt.
